Shot Notes
This is the front view of Einstein, displayed in two different images on this sculpture outside the National Science Center or Questacon. The side view is that of a peace dove, symbolizing Einstein’s work against nuclear weapons. The sculpture consists of a metal base with the formula E=mc2 in relief style. The structure is assembled from cut outs of metal plate with a galvanized finish. I’d noticed that the front view, with wall behind, takes on the look and feel of a photographic portrait. On close inspection the layers are revealed.
