Shot Notes

I’m feeling a little sad that this challenge is coming to an end. The PEN really is a fabulous travel companion; unobtrusive, responsive and reliable in all kind of light, weather and movement.  My only best wish is for a more flexible lens than the 14-42, to get in closer on some subjects and to frame others more effectively, and a view finder, so that I can be more confident of light and framing. On both counts the options are available and my first investment would be a converter coupling for, say, an 18-180 Zuiko standard four thirds lens and the optional hot shoe electronic view finder. This shot was taken around 6am on a recent dewy morning. I’ve cropped it slightly. ISO 200, 1/100secs, f5 at 19mm.  Grace and danger.
