Shot Notes

This shot was quickly taken from the passenger seat, through the driver’s window as we passed through a controlled fire burn off in our old neighbourhood in Queensland. We’d just driven past one of mates running the lollipop traffic control at one end of the burn and here we find the head teacher from the local primary school guiding traffic around the main part of the burn. The PEN allowed me to frame and capture the shot in a matter of seconds, as we moved past the fire ground and down to the next control point on the way out of the regulated area. The exit point was being run by another old friend, and we managed a few words without raising a snarl for other motorists. A great camera little camera in a tight spot.
