Shot Notes

This shot of Black Mountain Tower was taken off Scrivener Dam which holds back the Molongolo River to form Lake Burley Griffin, a centre piece for Canberra. The tower is visible all over Canberra and from some way out on all roads in. This was taken in the early morning, toward the sun, in order to block out Black Mountain and exaggerate the tower against the sky and reflection of both in the water. The PEN handles challenging light conditions stylishly, allowing accurate capture of crisp details in both intense and available light. A competitive performance of Olympic proportion.
